Be a part of something BIG for the 2012 Ipswich Festival Street Parade. Get involved in this major recycling initiative turning the trash of the City of Ipswich  into treasure!

Have fun transforming everyday objects into wonderful parade elements with expert guidance from environmental sustainability educators, Reverse Garbage!

People of all age groups can visit the Ipswich City Mall every Thursday, Friday and Saturday to participate in these FREE creative workshops. Drop in any time!

Dream Weaver
23 February – 3 March / 9:30am – 2:30pm

Join us to create a giant Dream Beast and various creatures of Slumberland and other realms.

Tales Of Once Upon A Time
8 – 17 March / 9:30am – 2:30pm

Draw inspiration from fairy tale characters and help create a mythical dragon and other enchanted objects.

Tree Tales
22 – 31 March / 9:30am – 2:30pm

Collaborate with artists to create a giant breathtaking Story Tree and landscape that will fuse natural and manufactured worlds.

EcoDroids - Easter School Holidays
5 – 14 April / 9:30am – 2:30pm

No workshops on Good Friday, Saturday or Easter Monday
Help design and create a giant robot, special communication antennae's and waste sorting utility belts from recycled electronic e-waste.

Mixed Themes
2 – 4 & 19 – 20 April / 9:30am – 2:30pm

Create costumes, masks, props, puppets and instruments to accompany the Dream Beast, Dragon, Robot and Story Tree in the Festival Parade.
