I Heart Handmade - December 2011

I Heart Handmade focused on affordable, sustainable gift-giving! The exhibition comprised of beautifully hand crafted art and eco-gifts from over thirty fabulous local artists, craftworkers and designers. Most items wre priced at $50 or less which made Reverse Emporium the one stop shop for fantastic handmade eco conscious gifts! The exhibition was opened with fat acoustic grooves from local band, Hawk & Bone

Materialistic - September 2011

A sustainable art exhibition for material boys and girls, with a conscience, Materialistic focused on all things textile, fabric and material, quirky, innovative and fabulous! Fashion, accessories and vogue met re-use and sustainability with this exhibition of beautiful handmade sustainable items.

And, on opening night, punters were treated to a set of deep, dirty, glitchy, electro-house from the fabulous Maberley & Petein!

New Beginnings – May 2011

The exhibition celebrated new beginnings for salvaged materials as well as Reverse Garbage's new beginning! Not only was this exhibition the first in our Woolloongabba warehouse, but also the launch of our new gallery space and gift shop, Reverse Emporium.
Talented local artists, craft workers and designers exhibited a fabulous range of artworks, jewellery, furniture, home wares, gifts and trinkets.
  
The Reverse Emporium space was launched with an opening party featuring a set from the wonderful Turkey & Goose and lovely Uke Hunters!
