Salvaged Steampunk Jewellery | Eco-Art Workshop for Adults

Inspired by 19th century industrialization and steam powered technology, bubbling with the excitement of Victorian era adventure and invention, Steampunk is now an established style and popular medium for jewellery design.

It is an aesthetic informed primarily by brass cogs, polished timber, rusty gears, hammered rivets, adventure-worn leather, mechanical contraptions and devices of old. In this workshop we'll look back to the past and imagine a future that runs on steam to create a piece of jewellry using salvaged materials such as watch parts, cogs, keys, leather and broken jewellery!

This workshop is suitable for beginners, ages 13 years and up. A light morning tea and refreshments will be provided on the day, along with the tools and materials you'll need to create your one-of-a-kind steampunk statement.
